Carlos has over 40 years of experience in logistics and transportation. He was the president of ABRALOG (Brazilian Association of Logistics) and CEO of large companies in the sector.
Since 2014, he has been an entrepreneur at the logistics technology startup TruckPad, a digital freight marketplace. His startup won several awards, including Plug and Play Tech Center and Winter Expo in Silicon Valley (USA): “the most innovative startup of the world.” It has been selected within the list of top “100 Open Startups 2019” and received investments from Movile (owner of iFood and Sympla), Mercedes-Benz, and the Chinese giant FTA (Full Truck Alliance).
Throughout his professional journey, he has received awards as “Business Leader of the Sector” by the readers of Gazeta Mercantil newspaper and the “The Transportation Man of the Year” (2001) by the National Transport Confederation (CNT) and Transporte Moderno magazine.
Carlos Mira is a bachelor in Economics at the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) – São Paulo, Brazil, in Transportation & Traffic Management at the Oklahoma State University, US, and a postgraduate in Marketing at ESMP, Brazil.
